The high efficiency of these Mitshubishi Mr. Slim Mini Split Ductless Systems helps them pay for themselves by slashing electrical costs. Strong, quiet and efficient DC motors are used both indoors and outdoors. This Mitsubishi's Super High-SEER mini-split AC will provide you with 1 ton of cooling for hot summer and it comes with MSYGE18NA wall mounted 18,000 BTU unit with wireless remote control. This unit are connected to the modern MUYGE18NA - up to 18,000 BTU outdoor condensing unit. Complete system creates the perfect climate control for your space. High performance fan blades, condensers and evaporators combined with variable speed inverter-driven compressors are made for unmatched performance. Variable speed compressors automatically adjust to fluctuating room capacity requirements. Since mini splits have little-to-no ducting, they forego those energy losses typically associated central forced-air systems. Duct losses can easily account for more than 30% of energy consumption, especially if the ducts are not sealed tight or in an unconditioned space such as an attic or crawlspace.

Mitsubishi's Multiple Filters for Cleaner, Healthier Air

    • Mitsubishi indoor units use a sophisticated multi-part filter system to remove contaminants such as allergens, viruses and bacteria from the air as it circulates. The hybrid catechin pre-filter absorbs odor-causing gases. A Blue-Enzyme anti-allergen filter reduces germs, bacteria and viruses and helps trap dust, pollens, mites and other particles; the filter uses an enzyme catalyst to help break down the sulfur atom bonds in allergen proteins, transforming them into non-allergen proteins. A hybrid-coating process makes the catechin filter washable and, if properly maintained with monthly cleanings, effective for more than 10 years.

      Inverter Technology

    • Maximizes energy savings by making sure only the energy needed to cool or heat an area is used.

Mitsubishi Mr. Slim Integrated i-see Sensor - MSZ-FD/MSZ-FE models only

    • The i-see sensor detects the always troublesome regions of temperature closer to the ceiling and the floor. The i-see sensor also controls the airflow up to a wide 150˚ lateral angle for ultimate comfort (90˚ angle in cooling mode) by scanning the room and making adjustments based on the ambient temperature readings. Through this process the MSZ-FE09/12NA systems achieve superior cooling/heating performance with extremely efficient operation.

Mitsubishi Mr. Slim Programmable ComfortSmart Set featured on MSZ-FE systems provides the option to program multiple settings into one "quick" press feature providing an additional level of comfort control.

      Mitsubishi Mr. Slim Powerful Mode

    • The POWERFUL mode (found on select systems) is available to cool or heat any desired space quickly by lowering the set temperature in cooling mode or raising the set temperature in heating mode, both by 7˚ F. In Powerful Mode, the fan speed increases for 15 minutes then resumes standard operation. Sensor

Mitsubishi Mr. Slim System Control in the Palm of Your Hand

    • Mitsubishi Electric offers a comprehensive remote controller that controls temperature, fan speed and more. Choose from four modes: COOL, HEAT, AUTO and DRY. The controller also has a 12-hour ON/OFF timer for one-button control of your personal comfort.

    dc inverter

DC Inverter Air Conditioners are the ultimate cooling and heating technology of the HVAC field.  They are called "DC inverter" because the alternative current (AC) is converted to Direct Current (DC) then, direct current inverted back to Alternative current with desired frequency. As known, the current supplied through the wall outlet has fixed frequency which is 60 Hertz. Different frequencies supplied to the compressor will result different running speeds of the compressor.  Klimaire Inverter control systems use Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM) that is the most advanced and energy efficient method of inverting the current.  DC Inverter air conditioners bear special compressors that their speed could be changed by increasing or decreasing the frequency of the supplied power.  Therefore, unlike conventional split Air Conditioners/Heat Pumps which cycle between on and off repeatedly, the DC Inverter control system will monitor the room temperature and adjust the compressor speed automatically.

Conventional compressors turn on and off to maintain the room temperature at desired level.  This will result compressor to draw tremendous energy each time it starts up. This will also reduce the life-span of the compressor and other components that are turning on and off.  Once a conventional system is running, it runs at its maximum speed, consuming the maximum amount of energy in order to produce the maximum of cooling or heating to maintain the desired temperature.  The system will then cycle between on and off in an effort to maintain this temperature. When a DC Inverter compressor initially starts up, it runs with a higher speed to bring the room temperature to desired level rapidly, Once the set temperature is reached, it slows down and adjust its capacity just to counter the heat loss or heat gain of the building. By this way it will maintain a constant temperature.

Installation Overview back to the top
BASIC OVERVIEW:  The indoor unit is hung like a picture frame approximately 6 - 8 feet above the floor usually on an exterior wall.  A 2-3 inch hole must be made behind the indoor unit in the exterior wall to run the refrigerant copper tubing, electrical wires and the condensate drain to the outside unit. The indoor unit and outdoor unit are connected to each other by means of refrigerant copper tubing and electrical cables.  The condensing unit comes pre-charged with R410A Freon however, the lines still need to be vacuumed to evacuate the excess Nitrogen prior to the final coupling for operation.  *Although the installation may seem easy to some, certain tools and experience is necessary to complete installation of a mini split*  See User Manual.  It is highly advised a certified HVAC technician conduct / complete installation to be eligible for warranty.  (See warranty details below > ) Installation Kit

Click to Download Warranty Details:  A mini split system must be installed by a licensed HVAC (Heating, ventilating, & air conditioning) company to ensure any issues encountered in the future are not due to improper installation / workmanship. Even though mini split setup is below the expertise requirements of central AC systems, these are not "plug-n-play" units that can be properly installed without certain tools any prior HVAC - electrical knowledge.   The installation includes electrical, gas, and refrigerant connections and generally regulated by a multiple sets of laws, codes and guidelines, at the federal, state and local levels. The failure to properly install HVAC equipment can raise personal safety and performance concerns. Warranty service - troubleshooting is provided through the contractor / installer and will be upheld as long as policies within Warranty spreadsheet are observed.  Once a non-defective unit is installed by a HVAC company, chances of anything going wrong are very slim and almost all contractors will guarantee there workmanship and provide future service free of charge (installation warranty).  If it was determined that the unit is not functioning due to a defect and needs to be replaced, the part will be sent free of charge. If you receive a damaged or defective product, a replacement unit will be sent out Free of cost.  Damaged/Defective product will be picked up and a brand new exchange will be shipped out.
