Mini split air conditioners
employ large cooling capacities with powerful heat pumps and are the most energy efficient add on system available.
Ductless Splits
have two units: the condenser which sits outside the home, and the air handler which is placed inside. Since they are ductless, the
mini split
avoids energy loss associated with ductw ork of central AC systems and are the most energy efficient add on unit available. All systems include complete install kit. |

Ceiling Cassette air handlers offer an alternative setup to the standard wall mounted air handler on the ductless mini split system. The ceiling cassette type is discreetly recessed into an industrial or drop ceiling panel; matching the aesthetic appeal of central systems, only the grille is visible. Air flow is also maximized. Cassettes can only be installed in a drop ceiling or 2' x 2' ceiling panel. |

Suspended Ceiling air handlers offer a more versatile alternative to wall mounts or cassettes. This type of air handler is suspended from a ceiling rather than recessed which permits installation on any type of ceiling as no clearance is required. The suspended ceiling air handler can also simply be positioned standing upright on the floor. However, suspended ceiling - floor mounts are the most expensive of the 3 evaporator types. |

Central Air Conditioners
are the traditional cooling solution installed in most modern households. Utilizing ducts to distribute conditioned air to one or more area. Central Air systems offer the most versatility and options in terms of multi-room temperature control and customization but installation does generally require HVAC experience. Sizes available in outputs up to 5 tons (60000 BTU) for large volume applications Modular 2-piece design allows for up flow, down flow, counter flow and horizontal installations. |

Unlike window or system AC's that require a permanent mounted or duct installation, a
portable air conditioner
offers a compact, efficient and mobile alternative. Portable AC's are rated with Energy Efficiency ratio (EER) and can range from 7,000 BTU units for 150 ft² rooms all the up to
14,000 BTU
systems which can accommodate a 500 ft² area. Since these units are a fairly new technology, they are relatively more energy efficient when compared to some of the traditional permanent AC equipment. |
